Our Moon has entered into Sagittarius’ archetypal field, scintillating out and stirring its sacred WILD force into our bodypsyches, the collective unconscious, and the World.
As with all full moons, our Luna in Sagittarius at 22° will move into an exact opposition with the Sun in Gemini at 22° on Friday the 13th. These opposites create an energetic alchemical field in which we have the potential and nature’s support to evolve consciousness within ourselves and the World by reconciling the opposites.
This opportunity for the reconciliation of the opposites occurs at every full moon.
The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity represents the Axis of the Mind in astrology. Gemini represents our left-brain functions, while Sagittarius represents our right brain functions. In this moment, the Gemini Sun encourages us to think logically, while our Lunar nature in Sagittarius is activating our intuition.
Gemini is the gatherer of information and knowledge. Logic and reason are its ways. It loves to name, label, and categorize what it discovers. Sagittarius symbolizes the quest for meaning and ideas that expand upon the “here and now”. It synthesizes and connects the dots of what our left brain has gathered and fashions it into a whole knowing vision. This is where epiphanies and gnosis occur.
These two aspects of ourselves are meant to work together, each supporting the other to support us in our health and well being. Right brain/left brain. Feminine/Masculine. When woven together they give birth to the Sacred Marriage within us.
Unfortunately our left brain has been fed a pile of lies. Educated under a system which is limited in its understanding of the whole human being, it instead perpetuates self abuse through its negative self perceptions, resulting in the mental illness we see rampant on our planet.
With our Moon in Sagittarius, we are being gifted with the totem of the Centaur… half horse, half human… pointing her bow to the stars while tracking the movement and laws of sacred wild nature.
Sagittarius is the WILD one who knows the power and laws of the WILDS of Nature. The Centaurs are a rebellious bunch. One of the most accurate depictions of the Centaur is in the Harry Potter movies… WILD and ferocious, fearing none, with allegiances only to those who are also aligned with Nature, and fighting against those who abuse it.
This force within us is what is rising up in its rebellion against the cursed ideas which perpetrate abuse of our wild souls placed within our minds long, long ago, to entrap us.
Thousands of years ago dark curses were placed within humanity’s minds by the ruling forces that wanted to control them. To control a sacred WILD creature you have to break its spirit. And thus we were conditioned to distrust our instincts. Educated to subjugate our personal power. Taught to refute our personal intelligence and belittle our creative endeavors. And the most horrendous, to hate our soft animalbodies from which all of our intelligence arises. By thus doing, humans were insidiously imprisoned and controlled from the inside out.
These curses were never broken. Beliefs were passed down from generation to generation, causing fear in otherwise intelligent sacred wild human beings who would naturally live from their own authority aligned with the laws of Nature.
We are now being called into a revolution to ferret out these lies, these thoughts of self abuse, and to replace them with empowering thoughts, feelings and perceptions in their stead.
Our Sagittarian nature is here to expose the old negative voices… to see them for what they are, curses that keep us bound to misery and self negation… and to rise up in a revolution of the Mind so as to create self empowerment in alignment with our true nature.
It brings to light how vital the work within really is. Without which we become the perpetrators of the forces we despise. Every time we self hate and self negate, we become the enemy. We collude with the dark negative patriarchy.
We NEED this vital image of the Wild Centaur who protects life, heart and our sacred wild nature, and who will fiercely draws the line in the sand when necessary. A line of fierce deserving.
Get out in Nature today and over the next few. Allow it to awaken you to a deeper knowing within yourself. Sagittarius rules the thighs and running. Connect with this part of your soft animalbody as you move with the elements… earth, air, fire and water.
Look up at the stars, soak in the rays of the moon, feel the wind in your lungs, and the earth beneath your feet. And know you are participating in the most important revolution there is… the liberation of YOU.

Gather items for your Altar…
the four elements – earth, air, fire, water.. and symbols that represent this Sagittarius-Gemini axis in you and your life. Write down the negative thoughts and voices which perpetuate your own undoing and place them on your altar. And don a costume which draws out your sacred wild Centauress. Have space to move, and art materials to express with, anything from crayons to paint, large pieces of paper to place her wild markings upon, and your journal.
This ritual will last for 75 to 90 minutes. You will be invited to self witness and be witnessed afterward if you desire.
