We have entered December, deepening into the last weeks of Autumn. Tis days from the Holy Darkness! Winter Solstice! Sol’s nadir of the year. Its lowest point.
Our bodies contract, pulling us inward, as the cold wraps itself round us. Our minds tire as the light wanes, wooing us home to our inner darkness… the haven where wild creaturas roam and hibernate, seeds gestate, and consciousness loosens its grip on us to allow the deeper self to play its part in the nature of things.
We are being beckoned by our holy wild natures to midwife our daemons through an act of self creation. Weave the blood-red threads of our existence… that which we have lived and lost, loved and suffered, over this last solar year, into something rich and strange: the birth of the sacred Wild One at Winter Solstice.
Darkness at times is not a pleasant place to live…
For the Ancients it was a wild and dangerous territory. Today, the wretched suffering of the world merged with our shadows are the terrors and dangers we face. Yet it is in the very heart of this darkness where the jewel of our Daemon and the heart of the World Soul resides.
By entering into ritual and consciously working with our prima materia, honoring the difficult material of our lives, the sacred wild forces of Nature are unleashed, opening us to deeper ways of perceiving, and fortifying us to fully live the preciousness and potency of each moment, no matter how challenging.
The Fertilizing Dark – Winter Solstice Ritual 2015
I invite you to enter into a sacred rite with me… gather our life pieces from over this year, along with what is alive for us in this moment, so we can reflect on it against the backdrop of our astrology charts, create altars to it and enter into a ritual with the initiating forces of the sacred wild fertile darkness at Winter Solstice.
This year I am offering two different forms of the work. A live group ritual package. And a home recorded ritual package.
Winter Solstice Live Group Ritual package:
Secret group on facebook, opening on the Dark Moon in Sagittarius, on December 11th. You will be guided to build your virtual altar under which we will engage in flow writing; gather and post pieces which are seeking to be integrated from over this last year; reflect on our Astrology charts; witness and be witnessed by others.
**The live ritual webinar will be held on Sunday, December 20th, at 12 noon. The recording will be made available later that day.**
The forum will stay open for one week after the ritual.
Please note: Witnessing by me will be limited, and I will silent witness to each one’s work throughout the time the forum is open. I am encouraging everyone to participate in as much witnessing their time allows for, as it fortifies oneself to both see and be seen by others.
